The memory that never faded。
During the First World War, European countries have no time to take into account the war zone in East Asia,Japanese took the opportunity to intensify its aggression against China, which seriously damaged China's sovereignty. The anti-Japanese sentiment of the Chinese people is growing. The failure of China's diplomacy at the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 triggered the great May 4th Movement. On May 4, 1919, in Beijing, a patriotic movement was launched in various forms, such as demonstrations, petitions, strikes and violent confrontations against the government. And from May 4, students in Beijing went on strike to organize speeches and propaganda. Subsequently, students and workers in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Jinan also gave support. The May 4th Movement was a patriotic movement of the Chinese people against imperialism and feudalism, also known as the May Fourth Wind Thunder.
The May 4th Movement had a direct impact on the birth and development of the Communist Party of China. The Communist Party of China generally defined it as the "anti-imperialist and anti-feudal patriotic movement" and regarded it as the watershed between the old democratic revolution and the new democratic revolution.
Today, a hundred years later, with the new generation of young people gradually becoming adults, always bearing in mind the spirit of patriotism, continue to inherit the spirit of the May 4th Movement, continue to learn, grow, and defend the dignity of the motherland with struggling youth.
